I have always been driven to build a career around helping others. My professional life started in the medical field, where I felt I could truly make a difference. I went to school for nursing in an effort to determine whether the medical field was specifically right for me.
After graduating and working in the field, it became clear that I enjoyed the personal interaction I had with patients, but dealing with the frustration of the medical industry was not something I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
My draw toward the legal system and my talent for pushing back when people are not given a fair deal spurred my decision to go to law school. After graduating and working as a civil litigator and public defender, I quickly realized that the practice of law was the right decision. I knew how to research, develop strong arguments and win when it came time to present a case. My experience in court includes more than 50 jury trials, including several multi-million dollar verdicts.
Today, as a personal injury attorney, I have been able to balance both my diverse career experience and my passion for helping people whose lives have been dramatically affected by an unexpected injury. I take great pride in what I do and the record of success I have in helping injury victims throughout Florida.
